Refund Policy

No Refund Policy

Booking fees paid through DocSlot.in are non-refundable. Once a booking is confirmed and payment is processed, the booking fee cannot be refunded under any circumstances, including cancellation, rescheduling, or no-show.

1. Booking Fee Policy

The booking fee is a platform service charge that covers:

  • Platform maintenance and operation costs
  • Payment processing fees
  • Customer support services
  • Appointment management system
  • Technology infrastructure

This fee is separate from the consultation fee, which is paid directly to the clinic at the time of your visit.

2. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Booking fees are non-refundable in the following situations:

2.1 Patient Cancellation

If you cancel your appointment for any reason, the booking fee will not be refunded. This applies regardless of:

  • Time of cancellation (even if cancelled immediately after booking)
  • Reason for cancellation (personal, medical, or other)
  • Whether the appointment was rescheduled or cancelled

2.2 No-Show

If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment without prior cancellation, the booking fee will not be refunded.

2.3 Clinic/Doctor Cancellation

In rare cases where the clinic or doctor cancels the appointment, we will assist you in rescheduling to another available slot. However, booking fees are still non-refundable. We will work with you to find an alternative appointment time.

2.4 Duplicate Bookings

If you accidentally create duplicate bookings, only one booking fee will be refunded (if requested within 1 hour of booking). After 1 hour, no refunds will be processed for duplicate bookings.

2.5 Payment Errors

If you experience a payment error (double charge, incorrect amount), please contact us immediately. We will investigate and resolve genuine payment errors, but standard booking fees remain non-refundable.

3. Refunds Issued Only For

Duplicate Payment

In case of an accidental double charge for the same order, we will process a refund for the duplicate amount. This is the only scenario where refunds are issued for booking fees.

4. Refund Request Process

Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed and credited back to your original payment method within 7–10 working days. You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated.

5. Rescheduling Policy

Good News: You can reschedule your appointment without any additional booking fee, subject to availability. The original booking fee will be applied to your rescheduled appointment. Rescheduling must be done at least 24 hours before your original appointment time.

6. Consultation Fee

Please note that the consultation fee (paid directly to the clinic) is separate from the booking fee. Refund policies for consultation fees are determined by individual clinics and are not covered by this policy.

Important: The booking fee (₹49 or as set by the clinic) is charged online. The consultation fee is paid at the clinic during your visit. These are two separate charges.

7. Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Cashfree. Once a payment is successfully processed:

  • The booking is immediately confirmed
  • You receive a confirmation email with booking details
  • The booking fee is non-refundable from this point
  • Payment receipts are available in your dashboard

8. Dispute Resolution

If you believe there has been an error in payment processing or have concerns about your booking:

  1. Contact our customer support within 48 hours of the transaction
  2. Provide your booking code and transaction details
  3. We will investigate and respond within 5-7 business days
  4. Genuine payment errors will be resolved, but standard booking fees remain non-refundable

9. Special Circumstances

In exceptional circumstances (natural disasters, government restrictions, platform technical failures), we may consider rescheduling assistance, but booking fees remain non-refundable. We will work with you to find alternative solutions.
